Hi welcome to DISSENTERS VOICE - I am Pete the Poet I post my poems and those of other poets I like, and info about poets, writers, songwriters etc.
The aim of this blog is to present the reader with works and actions of dissenting voices who expose, for example the psychopathic nature of transnational companies and institutions - to reveal their true nature i.e - non-life.
I am supporter of Peace issues, orgs and people. I explore matters related to the Paranormal, the Afterlife, Mediums and Psychic Healing. I am active in exposing the government and media propaganda and publish counter narratives based on facts and scientific research. We don't need politics or religion, just ourselves - take your personal responsibility and RESIST DEFY AND DO NOT COMPLY
Jesters and acrobats release the tears That have formed inside a thousand dark years, And the gas oven becomes the cooker again, The rope, a larger piece of string Daylight robs the world of menace It neatly places Our heads into spheres of happiness Turning on the taps of joy Is like bathing when I was a boy The excitement electrifies.
Jokers and panto artists dance their merry way as the dawn shovels in a brand new day expectations larger than one can say loom into view obscuring the clouds in total immersion the journey explodes inwards, lighting a million tiny fires that look like the night sky crammed with stars in showers of delight the smile stays and the tears dry, we are reborn again, we’re the same again.
I could see all their faces As they streamed passed my box I could hear their voices As though they came through a Vox They boomed delight – a desire I wanted the record player sound turned higher.
I would lean into the driving wind And settle for a cool rainy day If the sun refused to shine, Somehow I couldn’t have my way Yet sleeping is really like flying And living is only a prison.
We walk together through the sands We ignore the falling stars As we stride onward hand in hand For the grains of time are stacked high Ready, as if waiting for something afar To arrive, resplendent in colour; Sunset to sunset the miles stretch forever.
We walk the empty plains But the sorrow rains Like petals from a fading lily We see sunrises, but ignore the essentials Like half blind animals we turn silly, As the sunset approaches I look at you The long shadows surround me and you We embrace as the warm sun fades away Another sunset passes, sunrises to another day
I am a sensitive Dabbling in the light that gives Knowing healing with care With the colours of the rainbow The knowledge is loosed to flow We keep our secrets hidden In vaults we call our memory In chains of time We struggle on blind But to what purpose, what kind can we only but ponder and wait Listening inside all our ears Is the greater ones many light years Ahead of material wealth But at the same time Here and ready for life.
Shazam!! Searing guitars manic drums Demented bass for the audience Fun in the park, sun on the punk Lyrics round the bend No future no future no future for me – Scratched words shouted verbals Destroy! – Don’t care! Anarchy in the Finsbury Park June has exploded into life The fire’s lit the dancers jump.
Gravel pit screeching male throat Resounds in cardboard boxes, The edge of the city vibrates Only 21 years ago when their plugs were pulled Now the Johnny Respectable Rotten Runs out of gob sneers reassuringly Memories memories have come together Punk reunion anarchist smile Dash all hope of a trend in Descent Wake Up England! Or we’ll shit on your flag Cover your Queen in spit Filthy tasteless for the now music Fuck the past piss on the future Get your rocks off now!
Sitting near the mother of India Waiting for the sun I hear the ancient water song Sending a clear message In ripples, gurgles and in none Water song water words I’ve often heard Framed in vibration upon the seasonal winds For I talk to the wind My words are all carried away They fly every day They fly to eternity But their energy never dies For it is here and here it will stay.
Watching the pictures that glow in my mind As visions of paradise Become easier to find Having stepped momentarily into the beyond, The tears of a thousand deaths Are now in my eyes, splashing upon The word the Ancients breathed Is the Being the God the Light – OM I speak a hundred tongues To the Moon To find the child therein Has spoken the same But a million years ago.
Wear your love across the universe Like a cloak on fire with sequins and furs Live – love – love again Look without, look within Listen to the Voice Interrupt ye not For you have the choice To open your eyes To open your mind To connect with the infinite With material thee abide.
Practise a verse Exercise and rehearse Lift its dampening grave Leave ye not the one who raves Ignore ye not the madman Nor the depraved Remember them in healing times Cast thee your net To spread so very very wide…
Laugh and pity the hypocrites Send them your love Leave unturned no Stone, The settled ones are the deafened ones, Fear not what was cast from above Disturb well to over turn, Examine and forever learn That the Companions on your earth Wear not the iron-mail Nor carry the iron fist Their purpose is hidden Inside a blood red mist. If you can penetrate Then for the sake of love Do not hesitate Lift the Stone Above your head Throw it with venom Into the gliding Ganges The Stone fits inside it’s mother’s womb In blocks the tomb forever the eternal Stargate
I see a tree Skating in the clouds Right next to me I laugh I write I go home,
The tree with Fulsome leaves Trunk and all Laughs at me,,,
“The fool He thinks its his Imagination Who ever heard Of someone Thinking about Flying trees?”
I heard a dead cow sing My ears were leather straps They wouldn’t let in The sounds, The words of love I cry I write I wonder …why?
The dead cow Danced into a clover field And invited me in I thought of rising into the clouds. Right next to me.
I felt the glue Seeping into my hands I placed the envelope down For it was cutting itself Right next to me I’m asking impossible questions. Am I dreaming? I write I sleep Not knowing What lies inside
The slowly disappearing envelope I crumpled it It crumpled me Besides.
I felt the pang Of history Looking lively I wrote I painted I sketched Only three seconds passed Right next me Even the paint hadn’t dried By the time I looked Inside the picture Looking for me but the words were still fresh and the charcoal was almost dust.
I saw the tree Again that same day Right next to me I wrote I asked I laughed But the message It wrote to me Was unclear In English The meaning was left Wandering outside My window.
